Tech Talk for Families (Enhanced)

Tech Talk for Families provides a weekly podcast featuring Dale and Teresa, a dad and mom of three children who also served as licensed foster parents. Dale uses his training in teaching, speaking, and writing to bring you the information you need, and Teresa holds a degree in elementary education and over a decade as a full-time mom. They combine their training, experience, and lifelong interest in technology (and a houseful of electronics, computers, and video game consoles!) to bring you weekly technology news that actually matters to your family. While news and reviews from the the major tech media are useful, who knows more about what your child will like to play or how to deck out your minivan, a childless pundit or a full-time mom? Each podcast includes news about recalls, upcoming products, reviews of the latest gadgets and video games, and interviews with those in the tech industry. Subscribe to either the iTunes enhanced feed or the standard mp3 feed.

NDNTV.COM - Native American Language Tools and Video Production. By Thornton Media Inc.

Language revitalization is more important now than ever in Indian Country. Introducing your child to their tribal languages at a young age is a gift that will last your child's entire lifetime. Young children have a natural ability to learn new languages, and they are more likely to be fluent and speak with a native accent if exposed to the new language before the age of six. This is not to say that your child won't be able to learn another language as an adult - just that it will take longer, feel more like work, and he or she may not be able to speak with an authentic accent. This early, natural exposure to language provides stimulation for developing minds and lays the foundation for future language success. Little Linguist takes advantage of this window of opportunity by helping your child build vocabulary and learn sentence structure in English, while becoming familiar with a second or even a third language.
